Thanks to Hawick High School

Eleven S2 pupils (class 2.7) recently helped plan and host the ‘Give Good Food’ evening in the Home Economics department, where they invited staff members and family guests. They enjoyed food prepared by the pupils.

£69.40 was raised for Abundant Borders through guests’ generous donations, and a new partnership has been formed between the HE department and Abundant Borders which, going forward, will help pupils to learn more about the impact of fresh local produce on community health and wellbeing.

“Well done class 2.7 for representing our school Readily, Respectfully and Safely. “
