At the start of 2020, Berwickshire Housing Association gave a second piece of land to be developed as a Community Food Garden. The land had been used as a site office and equipment store by the building contractors working to complete the housing development at Todlaw, Duns.

Despite being limited to just 2 volunteers on site at any one time, due to Covid19 restrictions, the garden is definately taking shape!

Just look at this transformation!
The garden was further transformed in 2022 with the addition of an outdoor classroom, seating, a mud kitchen and polytunnel! And, with support from local group Keeping Duns Blooming Marvellous, we are supporting young people from the High School to get qualifications in horticulture.
