In permaculture, reuse and recycle isn’t just about rinsing out rinsing out containers and breaking down boxes.
Nature recycles naturally, leaves fall to the ground, decompose and provide mulch and nutrients to help the next generation of trees to grow; worms eat through decaying matter and transform it into compost and so on.
We humans are just getting started but resources are all around us and have endless uses if we are willing to put in a little thought and time.
Thanks to Louise and her partner the Ayton site now has some fabulous materials which would otherwise have been burned or dumped in landfill.
The pallets will make great compost bins while the tyres will form towers for potatoes and horseradish!
