The community in Cockburnspath successfully completed a community asset transfer, securing a large plot of land on the edge of the village. Part of the site has been allocated for allotments, and we were delighted to support the development of a community food forest garden on the remaining land, in collaboration with Cockburnspath Primary School. The children got hands-on with planting a wide variety of vegetables and especially enjoyed making pumpkin soup from the impressive harvest they helped grow.
