This report provides an insight into the real life experiences our community has of accessing ‘good food’ and provides a basis for future development of a Good Food Partnership by identifying key themes, barriers and opportunities.
During the consultation process, over 250 individuals provided information on their experiences accessing local food, over 30 businesses within the food sector contributed their views and policy makers in both Scottish Borders Council and NHS Borders gave their thoughts and shared their aspirations for development of a Regional Food Plan. The research was undertaken by Abundant Borders and funded by Scottish Borders Council CLLD Funding between October 2023 and February 2024.
