Ingredients
- 8 oz self-raising flour
- 2 oz margarine
- Milk to mix
Method
- Rub margarine into flour using finger tips
- Add milk slowly until you have a stiff dough
- Add in your favourites: sultanas/lemon curd/cherries/apple/ cinnamon/cheese
- Make into a thick round and place on a lightly floured board
- Cut out with a scone cutter
- Bake at gas mark 7/200 degrees for 12 minutes approximately
